Community
Jacksonville is growing at such a rapid pace and the city has become an exciting place to live.
Closer to home, the San Marco Historic District continues to be a jewel of Jacksonville. San Marco is located next to the South Bank of Jacksonville and then just south of downtown Jacksonville. There’s something for everyone. The shopping square offers a variety of activities, from fine dining to shopping second to none; from casual dining to movie and playhouse theaters. The neighbors who live in San Marco and nearby St. Nicholas and Mirramar know the value of being just a short walk or bike ride to enjoying an evening spent their family.
The spring and fall art festivals, along with “Holiday Magic” during the winter holiday season attract people from all over the city.
The San Marco Preservation Society and The San Marco Merchants Association are the back-bone of our wonderful community, continually monitoring the physical environment and the business landscape for opportunities for improvement. With newly landscaped medians and major roadways being repaved, the “jewel” shines ever brighter.
All of us here at The Bath and Linen Shoppe talk about where we work and live, during and after our work day. To that end, each of us will let you know about an area of the city offering a great experience, a place to relax, an exceptional web site, new products that have arrived or just some sound advice on the products that we have personally enjoyed.
You can contact us here with a blog or on the “Contact” page via e-mail, fax, or a simple telephone call.
